Returns & Refunds

Policy and Process

Please, read this first before initiating a return. Contact Support for any return related queries.

 Upon Receipt of Part

  1. Please check the packaging for any signs of tampering or external damage.
  2. Open the product packaging without damaging it.
  3. Inspect the product for any signs of visible damage
  4. Ensure that the part is suitable for your vehicle. (consult your mechanic if necessary). Compare it with the part being replaced if possible.

In the unlikely event that you need to return the product, please read the following and act accordingly.

Conditions for Return

Returns will be accepted only when the following conditions are met.

  1. Product is unused and not installation has not been attempted
  2. Product is in the condition in which it was received, there are no signs of damage, scratches, dents or stains
  3. Packaging is preserved in original condition with no damage or stains.
  4. The return request is initiated within 7 days of receipt
  5. Part should not be from a category like complex electronic parts, which are not returnable.

Return Process


  1. Within 7 days of receipt, please send a mail to support@genuineparts.in with the word “RETURN REQUEST” and the order number in the subject. In the mail please mention why you would like to return the part.
  2. We shall revert with the return instructions once we are satisfied about the need for the return.
  3. Please repack the part in the original packing an then in a suitable outer packing so as to make it safe for transit. We shall not be liable for damages due improper return packaging.
  4. Once the goods are packed and ready to be shipped please mail us with a picture of the package.
  5. A pickup shall be arranged by us. Please hand over the product when it arrives.

Refund Process


  1. As soon as the part is received back, we shall inspect it for suitability for refund.
  2. Once the claim for return and refund is found to be valid, the money shall be refunded (without shipping costs) within 7 days.
  3. If the return claim was rejected, we will send it back on customer's request or scrap after 30 days of keeping at stock. Customer will be responsible for paying all related shipping costs.

For buyer protection, refunds will be done only through the Original Mode of Payment and to the same account from which it was originated.
