About INA Belt Idler & Tensioner Pulleys
 
Tension and idler pulleys are an essential part of the auxiliary drive, since they allow the belt to run efficiently, even in the tightest of spaces. Furthermore, they guarantee the perfect belt tension across all engine operating conditions.The Schaeffler range includes a comprehensive portfolio for rapid replacement.
 
Tensioner and deflection pulleys allow optimum belt guidance around the driven units. They also ensure constant belt tension – in all engine operating conditions. In addition, the rollers are used for calming critical belt sections and serve to avoid collision problems with the surrounding construction. 

For many years, renowned automobile and engine manufacturers have relied on belt drive components from Schaeffler. The high-quality INA pulleys and tension rollers are used both in auxiliary and timing drives. INA pulleys with high-precision single groove ball bearings and an increased grease capacity have proved to be reliable. If required, double row angular contact ball bearings, also with optimized grease supply volume, are also used. All bearings are precisely matched to the respective vehicle and are equipped with high-temperature rolling bearing greases and optimized sealing rings. Depending on the requirements, these bearings are fitted with running discs made of plastic or steel.
